It has been reported by billboard.com that Rapael Saadiq will be doing production work with American Idol season 2 winner Fantasia. Saadiq hopes to record "something soulful but really strong, something like maybe a little bit of Aretha (Franklin) mixed up with a little bit of LaBelle. I think that would sound really good on her."

Raphael Saadiq and Fantasia could turn out to be as great as Aretha Franklin and Curtis Mayfield on the album "Sparkle" just know I'm not comparing the talents of Curtis Mayfield and Aretha Franklin to Raphael Saadiq and Fantasia.
